System Team Charge

The Systems Team provides broad leadership for technologies used by Alliance programs, teams and groups, and members, as well as for the Discovery layer of the Shared Integrated Library System (SILS). The team supports the consortium by investigating and recommending technological solutions to shared needs, providing training and documentation, and assessing adopted systems to achieve improved functionality, efficiency, and interoperability.

Areas of focus for the Systems Team and groups include:

• Integrations between library technologies, such as implementation of authentication and student information systems in the SILS
• Alma and Primo Analytics
• Primo release testing and customization
• Ex Libris APIs and Cloud Apps
