The Board is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017-2018 John Helmer Professional Development Awards. Both projects showcase cross institutional collaboration and will reach a large number of Alliance members with focused and practical applications. The projects will offer the opportunity for Alliance staff to acquire expertise that can then be passed on to others in their institutions and they address topics that are both timely as well as relate to trends in higher education and the ongoing development of digital initiatives in general. We congratulate the recipients and thank all individuals who submitted applications. Thanks are also extended to Jane Carlin, Marilyn Moody and Michael Paulus for their efforts in chairing this year’s Award Review Committee.
